More than three decades ago I designed the DiskFace logo for my work. It is made from a high contrast image of my face. A decade or so later, to get around better, it found some legs.

Nowadays the DiskFace Gams logo © goes wherever my creativity goes, including my collaborative efforts in the projects of more BDSM links on this fetish website

Hi! My name is Alexander Hirka and this website Alexanderhirka.com serves as my personal portfolio. I'm a visual artist and writer from New York. Some of my favorite and my best projects are in digital montages, photography, and audio-visual projects. It all started with drawing when I was a teen. Artists like Hieronymus Bosch, Salvador Dalí, and René Magritte inspired me.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s I entered the International Mail Art Network, with a huge contribution of over a hundred exhibitions worldwide. I was also a copublisher at "Smegma the Magazine," about the punk anti-aesthetic of New York City's art scene during that period. This publication is now archived in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent library collection.

Here you can findmost of my main iamge galleries like "Blind-Leading-The-Blind," "Religion Of Robots," and "The Gullible Mass". There are also some of my writings, video projects, and photography which reflect my constant interest in the exploration of combining disparate elements into cohesive compositions.
